Senior Accountant

Overview

As a Senior Accountant at NVision Quantum Technologies, you will play a critical role in maintaining the precision, compliance, and transparency of the company's financial reporting amid ongoing international growth. Collaborating closely with the Finance team, you will oversee essential accounting functions, facilitate the integration of dual reporting frameworks under HGB, IFRS, and US GAAP, and spearhead enhancements in accounting processes.

Key Duties

• Handle daily accounting tasks including accounts payable and receivable, banking activities, travel expense management, and fixed asset record-keeping.
• Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements adhering to HGB, IFRS, and US GAAP standards.
• Assist in the rollout and continual development of dual accounting practices aligned with IFRS and US GAAP, ensuring smooth alignment with local GAAP (HGB).
• Generate financial reports and conduct analytical reviews to guarantee data accuracy and integrity.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and financial partners to support audit and statutory reporting activities.
• Support VAT filings, tax documentation, and compliance with other statutory requirements.
• Champion the advancement, automation, and digital transformation of accounting workflows.

Candidate Profile

• Formal education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
• At least six years of accounting experience, preferably within international MedTech, Life Sciences, or rapidly expanding tech sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of HGB and IFRS or US GAAP, with practical exposure to dual reporting environments or global accounting standards.
• Proven ability to prepare financial statements and coordinate with external auditing teams.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities.
• Analytical mindset, keen attention to detail, and a pragmatic, structured work approach.
• Comprehensive understanding of internal control systems.
• Excellent English communication skills required; German language proficiency is advantageous.
• Able to thrive in a fast-evolving, dynamic setting and adapt to shifting priorities efficiently.
• Prepared to relocate to Ulm or undertake monthly travel commitments.
