Role Overview

This full-time position is based onsite in Dehradun and requires vigilant monitoring of premises. The Security Guard will manage building access controls, perform regular area patrols, and identify potential safety or security threats. Key duties involve verifying identification, logging visitors, incident reporting, and collaborating with emergency responders as needed. The role entails engaging professionally with visitors, employees, and clients by offering assistance and directions. Adherence to established security procedures, use of security equipment, and preparing accurate reports at the end of shifts are essential responsibilities.

Candidate Profile

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills for clear communication, conflict handling, and visitor support.
• Proficient in physical security tasks such as patrolling, access control, and emergency response.
• Knowledgeable in personnel security including validation of identities and safeguarding authorized individuals.
• Experience or training in private security practices including protocol compliance and incident documentation.
• Basic literacy and numeracy, ability to follow instructions, and a dependable character with high integrity.
• Prior experience as a security guard, or background in military or law enforcement, along with relevant certifications, will be favored.
• Physical fitness with capability to stand or walk for long durations, and readiness to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
