Role Summary
We are hiring a Sales Manager to spearhead a team focused on acquiring new clients for our Search and Staffing offerings within Mid-Market and SMB sectors. This leader will build and expand a high-performing sales force focused on new-business development while collaborating with recruiting and delivery teams to guarantee client satisfaction.
Work Setting
This role offers a hybrid working model combining remote work and office presence at a LinkedIn location per business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement targeted acquisition strategies to grow net-new business within your region by identifying lucrative accounts and verticals.
- Lead, mentor, and develop quota-driven sales representatives emphasizing outbound prospecting, discovery, solution selling, and closing techniques.
- Oversee complete sales cycles including pipeline creation, client engagement, proposal crafting, pricing strategies, contract negotiations for MSAs/PSAs, and deal closures.
- Establish consistent outbound outreach efforts across multiple channels such as email, phone, social media, and events to ensure scalable pipeline generation.
- Collaborate with recruiting and delivery leadership to align workforce capacity, intake quality job orders, and uphold excellent client service and fill rates.
- Manage complex purchasing processes including handling RFPs, vendor management systems, and engaging Procurement stakeholders with timely and competitive submissions.
- Maintain ownership of pipeline health and revenue forecasting through rigorous CRM data management and delivering insightful reports to senior leadership.
- Monitor sales performance metrics such as pipeline creation, conversion rates, sales cycle length, and revenue attainment, providing coaching as needed.
- Develop strong local market presence through networking, participation in industry groups, and event involvement to encourage deal flow.
- Recruit, onboard, and cultivate high-caliber sales talent to foster an inclusive, high-achieving team culture.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience with quota responsibilities.
- At least 2 years spent in acquisition sales or as an account executive.
Preferred Attributes
- Over 5 years in staffing or search sales demonstrating success in acquiring new clients.
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing quota-driven sales teams.
- Experience targeting Mid-Market and SMB clients with rapid deal cycles.
- Solid understanding of staffing financials including bill rates, pay rates, markups, gross margins, and direct hire fees.
- Proficiency in negotiating MSAs/PSAs, responding to RFPs, and navigating VMS platforms.
- Skill in building outbound pipelines using multi-channel prospecting approaches.
- Strong operational capability with CRM platforms like Salesforce and forecasting discipline.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation skills, and executive presence in dealings with internal and client stakeholders.
- Ability to excel in a fast-moving, results-driven environment, scaling team performance effectively.
Compensation
The total pay for this role ranges from $230,000 to $350,000 on-target earnings (OTE), depending on factors such as experience and location. Additional benefits include annual bonuses, stock options, and comprehensive benefits packages.
