Noon’s innovation division, Everyday Labs, spearheads rapid experimentation and development from concept to customer-ready products, focusing on high ownership and speedy iterations. Part of this initiative is Noon Business, a B2B marketplace designed to streamline enterprise procurement by making the purchase of recurring business supplies faster, more affordable, and better managed.
Role Overview
As one of the first sales leaders in the team, the Sales Manager will establish and expand the sales pipeline, secure key anchor customers, and define the sales strategies and go-to-market approaches. Collaborating closely with the product, operations, and category teams, you will help build a promising new business line in a procurement market valued around AED 300 billion, leveraging Noon’s capabilities to disrupt the industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and scale demand generation initiatives for your assigned category from the ground up.
- Identify and confirm promising customer segments by analyzing data and gaining market insights.
- Implement initial go-to-market strategies, successfully close deals, and quickly generate revenue.
- Gain deep understanding of category economics, supplier motivation, and purchasing behaviors.
- Conduct experiments with pricing, request-for-quote processes, customer incentives, and acquisition strategies.
Candidate Profile
- 4 to 6 years of experience in B2B sales, category management, or business development.
- Experience engaging with SME or enterprise procurement customers is advantageous.
- Strong skills in influencing both sellers and buyers.
- Willingness to invest time in fieldwork and market engagement.
- Capable of operating effectively with limited supervision amidst high expectations.
