Role Purpose

This role focuses on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and providing heartfelt service to guests at a premium 5-star hotel environment, ensuring guest rooms and communal areas uphold luxury standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, corridors, and storage spaces according to assigned duties.
• Regularly restock guest supplies and promotional materials in line with room-specific standards.
• Manage lost property reports following established protocols.
• Conduct scheduled cleaning tasks, including deep cleaning when required.
• Handle guest laundry operations compliant with hotel policies.
• Safely operate and maintain cleaning equipment, reporting faults promptly.
• Assist in equipment inventory counts and upkeep departmental tools to high standards.
• Ensure security of keys and rooms, reporting any suspicious activities to supervisors.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines regarding cleaning agents.
• Provide guest assistance with inquiries or services, escalating beyond authority appropriately.
• Deliver turndown service and clean balconies, furniture, railings, carpets, and carry out detailed bathroom upkeep.
• Support colleagues by setting up beds or additional furniture as needed.
• Engage warmly with guests, using emotional intelligence to enhance the luxury experience.
• Be capable of working independently during room cleaning assignments.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

• At least six months experience in a 5-star or luxury hospitality setting.
• Strong interpersonal skills and fluency in English for effective communication.
• Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically fit and capable of handling demanding cleaning tasks.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and multitask efficiently.
• Must have a clean police record.
