About the Role
Ampol is a major Australian convenience retailer focused on making everyday stops easier for customers. In this role, you will help create a smooth, welcoming in-store experience for people stopping in to fuel up, pick up essentials, or make a quick purchase.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Retail Team Member, you will help keep the store running well by supporting product presentation, stock handling, inventory checks, and cash-related transactions. The role also involves making sure end-of-shift reconciliations are completed accurately and securely.
Key Duties
- Provide customer service that is friendly, helpful, and focused on exceeding expectations.
- Assist the Store Manager with day-to-day retail operations.
- Work cooperatively with other team members to maintain a positive store environment.
- Maintain strong attention to safety, accuracy, and detail.
- Be available for weekend and overnight shifts as required.
Experience and Skills
- Prior experience in retail or customer-facing roles is preferred.
- Ability to use point-of-sale systems and manage cash accurately.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
- Willingness to work a 7-day roster, including weekends and overnight shifts.
