Role Overview
We are seeking a Requirements Engineer specializing in mechanical aspects of onboard chargers. If you are motivated to manage mechanical requirements clearly and effectively, and thrive in a collaborative environment, we welcome your application.
Key Responsibilities
- Master the formulation and management of mechanical requirements, ensuring clarity and comprehensibility.
- Analyze system-level requirements to extract mechanical subsystem specifications in line with the ASPICE framework.
- Organize and maintain mechanical requirements, validating their completeness, consistency, and testability.
- Guarantee and update bidirectional traceability among SYS.1, SYS.2, SYS.3, MEE.1, and HWE.1 standards.
- Define and properly configure mechanical interfaces related to onboard chargers and high-voltage power electronics.
- Coordinate technical discussions collaboratively with teams from system, hardware, and software development.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Completed degree in mechatronics, automotive engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Several years of hands-on experience in mechanical development within the automotive industry.
- Proven background in the mechanical design and integration of onboard chargers; knowledge of power electronics is advantageous.
- Familiarity with ASPICE methodologies, particularly regarding requirements engineering.
- Proficient in using requirements management tools such as Polarion, DOORS, and Codebeamer, including conducting reviews.
- Fluency in German and a good command of English.
