Currently, we are seeking a Remote Customer Service Representative / Help Desk Associate for Ohmium, a leader in green energy innovation offering modular green hydrogen solutions that foster sustainable change.
Job Purpose and Location
This position provides an essential role as the first line of customer contact, delivering high-quality support and technical assistance to clients. The role accommodates both full-time and part-time schedules for qualified candidates based anywhere within the United States.
Primary Responsibilities
- Act as the initial contact point via email, phone, and online support channels for customer inquiries.
- Offer clear, precise technical support and troubleshooting regarding Ohmium’s green hydrogen products.
- Quickly identify and resolve customer problems to ensure satisfaction.
- Refer complex issues promptly to senior technical teams when necessary.
- Keep thorough documentation of all customer communications and resolutions within the CRM system.
- Gain and maintain a detailed knowledge of company products and services to provide informed guidance.
- Participate in developing and updating internal and external support materials and knowledge bases.
- Collect and relay customer feedback to aid ongoing product and service enhancement.
Candidate Qualifications
- Experience in customer service, help desk, or technical assistance roles is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with a professional and empathetic phone manner.
- Strong problem-solving aptitude and attention to detail.
- Capability to simplify complex technical information for non-expert customers.
- Familiarity with help desk applications like Zendesk or Jira Service Management and CRM tools.
- Proficient computer skills including remote support technologies.
- Self-driven with effective time management skills suitable for remote work environments.
- Interest or background in renewable energy or sustainability is advantageous.
