Role Overview
Based at Brookhaven Retirement Village in Christchurch, we invite compassionate Registered Nurses to join our permanent full-time team (minimum 32 hours weekly). This role involves AM, PM, and weekend shifts to deliver outstanding care to residents in a warm environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a dedicated team of Caregivers ensuring high-quality care.
- Create, update, and monitor individual care plans for residents.
- Conduct clinical assessments to maintain residents' health standards.
- Develop strong, supportive relationships with residents, their families, and GPs.
- Assist Clinical Services and Care Home Managers in operational duties.
Required Skills and Experience
- Previous experience as a Registered Nurse, either domestically in New Zealand or internationally.
- Current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) is mandatory.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- A sincere passion for caring, coupled with a positive and approachable demeanor.
- Strong team spirit with empathy and determination to impact lives positively.
