Responsibilities
- Employ sales, marketing, business development strategies and networking to acquire new clients.
- Work towards achieving targets related to margin billing, sales activities, and service delivery.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with both clients and candidates.
- Gain a thorough understanding of client companies, their sectors, work cultures, and environments.
- Represent the company by attending networking events, job fairs, and recruitment days as needed.
- Conduct drive rounds in industrial and commercial areas to identify new business leads.
- Manage a systematic business development approach by consistently engaging and expanding the prospective client database.
- Analyze competitors' business models and customer bases to identify opportunities.
- Support the resource team by contributing ideas for recruitment campaigns to attract candidates and strengthen client relationships.
- Utilize candidate databases and job boards effectively to match the right workers to clients' requirements.
- Assist the resource team as required in various tasks.
- Ensure all workers are fully briefed on their roles, responsibilities, health and safety protocols, and other essential information before client deployment.
- Adhere strictly to company and legal compliance standards during worker placement processes.
- Positively represent the Adapt Recruitment brand to both workers and clients at all times.
- Negotiate terms of business, pay, and charge rates for new and existing clients in accordance with legislative changes, ensuring proper documentation of all agreements.
- Maintain efficient administrative processes with clients to guarantee timely and accurate payment to workers.
- Conduct periodic client visits to carry out service reviews, enhance processes, and maintain robust working relationships.
- Provide expert advice to clients and candidates regarding legislation, current market conditions, pay scales, training, and career progression.
- Ensure operational compliance with all relevant company policies, procedures, and legislation.
- Act as a positive role model by mentoring and supporting junior team members and leading them when required.
- Be available to respond to out-of-hours calls from clients and candidates when necessary.
Candidate Profile
- Highly motivated and ambitious individual looking to grow quickly within a company with significant expansion plans.
- Possesses a positive attitude and approach to work and life.
- Can easily establish rapport with others both face-to-face and via telephone.
- Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Office applications.
- Organized, able to independently manage workload efficiently.
- Experience within construction or engineering sectors is advantageous but not a strict requirement.
- Willingness to go beyond usual duties, including occasional contact outside normal working hours.
- Good level of education, effective communication skills, and comfortable liaising with people at all levels.
- Capable of earning people's trust and putting them at ease.
- Persuasive, patient, and persistent with strong negotiation skills.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing situations and challenges.
- Excellent telephone manner and confidence in phone communications.
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and dependably.
- Resilient, diligent, and able to handle high workloads and pressure.
- Strong team player mentality.
