Join the yourtown Employment Services team in Woodridge, Queensland, and play a pivotal role in connecting youth with meaningful jobs while cultivating employer partnerships throughout the Kingston area. This unique position blends recruitment and business development, focusing on building employer pipelines, uncovering hiring needs, and aligning motivated young candidates with suitable opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture robust relationships with local businesses to identify present and upcoming workforce demands.
- Engage with young individuals to assess their employment objectives, skills, and career ambitions.
- Design customized reverse marketing strategies that address both candidates' goals and employer requirements.
- Effectively promote candidates' strengths and transferable skills to employers to facilitate placements.
- Create job opportunities via innovative job creation and job carving initiatives.
- Prospect and engage a diverse range of local employers to expand the recruitment network.
- Advocate for wage subsidies, incentives, and supportive employment services aligned with employer needs.
- Collaborate closely with Employment Coaches to prepare candidates for lasting employment success.
- Maintain a management system for employer relationships, job vacancies, placements, and employment prospects.
- Consistently meet and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets in a dynamic work environment.
- Secure sustainable employment outcomes that positively influence young lives.
Candidate Profile
- Proven background in recruitment, sales, business development, labour hire, account management, or employment services with a focus on performance and relationship cultivation.
- Skilled in identifying opportunities and matching individuals to appropriate roles.
- Experience in reverse marketing candidates or selling services to employers or clients.
- Confident interfacing with decision-makers and influencing recruitment decisions.
- Results-oriented with a track record of achieving KPIs and business goals.
- Creative thinker capable of developing employment solutions through innovative job creation techniques.
- Exceptional relationship-building abilities combined with a genuine dedication to facilitating meaningful employment.
