Role Overview
We are seeking a full-time Receptionist for the Grace Joel Retirement Village located in St Heliers, Auckland. The working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. This role is pivotal in creating a welcoming atmosphere for residents and visitors, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and warmth.
Key Duties
- Providing a warm welcome and assistance to visitors
- Managing incoming phone calls courteously and professionally
- Responding to general inquiries from residents, families, and visitors
- Performing various administrative tasks to support village operations
- Fostering a positive and helpful environment for both residents and colleagues
- Working collaboratively within a supportive team committed to excellent service
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in roles involving direct customer interaction showing trustworthiness, friendliness, and professionalism
- Strong interpersonal skills with empathy and warmth in communication
- Excellent communication abilities
- Ability to perform effectively in a dynamic, busy setting
- Applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand due to immigration requirements
