Role Overview

This full-time position based in Singapore offers a hybrid work schedule, combining on-site responsibilities with remote work flexibility. The Quantity Surveyor will be chiefly responsible for preparing and auditing bills of quantities (BOQ), supporting tender documentation, and assisting with contract management within urban development and housing projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee project financials by monitoring expenses, creating cost plans, and forecasting cash flows.
• Evaluate contract variations and assist with progress payment certifications.
• Generate comprehensive cost reports and analyze expenditure data.
• Communicate and coordinate with project teams, contractors, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure all activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in cost control and management to maintain budgets and mitigate financial risks.
• Strong expertise in BOQ preparation and accurate measurement for tender and contract processes.
• Experience in cost planning and reporting with the ability to prepare forecasts and track spending.
• Skilled in quantity surveying software and MS Excel, possessing robust numerical and analytical abilities.
• Holds recognized qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related fields; professional certifications or memberships are favorable.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple project deadlines.
• Knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, and local regulatory standards; prior public-sector or infrastructure experience is advantageous.
