Role Overview
Join VirPoint as a Quantitative Analyst, where you'll develop and refine mathematical models that support our proprietary analytics and trading strategies. You'll handle significant data volumes and intricate systems to deliver practical insights that drive decision-making.
Main Duties
- Create, develop, and validate complex financial models.
- Evaluate trading results and study market trends.
- Collaborate with product development and trading teams to build analytical tools.
- Process, clean, and manage extensive datasets.
- Develop automated systems for reporting and model backtesting.
Candidate Profile
- Holds a degree in mathematics, physics, statistics, finance, or a related discipline.
- Skilled in programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB.
- Familiar with handling and interpreting market or trading-related data.
- Exhibits strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Knowledge of derivatives and risk modeling is advantageous.
