Quality Inspector

Overview

The Quality Inspector utilizes practical inspection knowledge to address various straightforward inspection challenges under moderate supervision from team members and leadership. The role involves analyzing and implementing solutions by applying standard procedures and developing a deeper understanding of company processes and customer requirements. This professional appreciates key business factors and applies sound technical judgment and experience to resolve issues effectively in routine situations.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify product compliance with customer requirements through daily surveillance activities and Inspection Test Points (ITP) aligned with the Project Quality Plan.
• Detect and document any non-conformities, ensuring corrective measures are implemented and completed satisfactorily.
• Evaluate product quality against approved drawings and Inspection and Test Plans, documenting all inspection outcomes; initiate documentation for corrective actions when deviations are found.
• Collaborate and communicate with Operations, Certifying Authorities, Clients, Job Sharing staff, and subcontractors to ensure adherence to project specifications.
• Adopt a proactive stance to prevent quality issues by engaging with Production teams, Engineers, and Management.
• Work closely with customer representatives to maintain product conformity and approve stage releases as specified in the Project Quality Plan and ITP.

Requirements

• Possession of a high school diploma or a degree in a related discipline.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in Quality Control or a relevant quality discipline with a degree; or at least eight years with a diploma.
• Proficiency in computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite.
