Position Overview
Miss Daisy's Nursery Schools are seeking enthusiastic and qualified Early Years Educators to become part of their dedicated teams at various locations across all Miss Daisy's settings.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification or an equivalent comprehensive Early Years certification is required.
- Prior nursery or childcare experience is essential.
- Possess patience, empathy, and a sincere passion for working with young children.
- Strong understanding of child development theories and best practices is expected.
- Capability to work cooperatively within a team environment.
- Holding a valid Paediatric First Aid certificate is necessary.
- Familiarity with relevant childcare regulations, including safeguarding protocols, must be maintained.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care and education to children aged from birth up to 5 years.
- Design and execute stimulating, EYFS-compliant activities that promote development.
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, and encouraging environment conducive to child learning and growth.
- Monitor and assess children's developmental progress, identifying and addressing any concerns.
- Work collaboratively with parents and colleagues to cater to each child's unique needs.
- Keep accurate documentation of children's growth and accomplishments.
- Ensure the nursery environment is tidy, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety standards ensuring the well-being of all children is prioritized.
