The company operates three convenient branches located in Trivandrum at MG Road (opposite Govt Ayurveda College), Kesavadasapuram (opposite Big Bazaar), and Kazhakkuttam (opposite Nippon Toyota Showroom).
Role Overview
We seek a dedicated Purchase Specialist to join our team full-time at our Thiruvananthapuram Taluk location. This professional will oversee daily procurement tasks such as supplier sourcing, purchase order preparation and management, and meticulous record-keeping. The role demands continuous stock monitoring, collaboration with sales and warehousing departments to maintain timely inventory replenishment, negotiation with vendors to secure optimal pricing and conditions, as well as tracking deliveries and resolving order or billing discrepancies. Enhancing purchasing systems and processes will also be part of this role.
Key Qualifications
- Comprehensive understanding of purchasing methodologies and commitment to process optimization.
- Prior experience managing supplier relations and procurement activities.
- Demonstrated capability in handling purchase orders including creation, tracking, and reconciliation.
- Strong analytical aptitude to evaluate pricing strategies, demand patterns, and inventory data.
- Meticulous attention to documentation accuracy and data management.
- Proficiency in office software applications and familiarity with inventory or ERP systems.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external suppliers effectively.
- Background in retail or wholesale procurement, especially within the stationery or office supplies sectors, is advantageous.
- Educational credentials such as a diploma or degree in Business, Supply Chain, Commerce, or allied disciplines are preferred.
