Role Overview

This full-time position, located in Kampala, involves supporting proposal management, technical writing, and submission of requests for proposals (RFPs). The role requires clear articulation of challenges, identification of gaps and opportunities, which inform project and program design, goal setting, and development of monitoring and evaluation instruments such as logic models, theories of change, and log frames.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, manage, and submit proposals including RFP responses.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders for fundraising and project progress.
• Analyze and outline project challenges and potential opportunities to influence program design.
• Develop and apply monitoring and evaluation frameworks and tools to track project outcomes.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience or skills in proposal management and writing.
• Capability to spot opportunities influencing project and program frameworks.
• Proven ability in technical writing and RFP submission processes.
• Knowledge of designing monitoring and evaluation tools, including logic models and theories of change.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and effective time management skills.
• Research skills to identify business and work opportunities.
• Interest in entrepreneurship and emerging technologies.
• Currently pursuing or has completed a degree in Business, Communications, or a related discipline.
• Basic understanding of budgeting and financial literacy concepts.
