Lead the execution of vital Three Waters, highways, and civil infrastructure projects throughout the Wellington region for an industry-leading civil contractor. Key Responsibilities

• Manage entire project lifecycle from initial planning to final account settlement.
• Develop project programmes and coordinate resources and site teams effectively.
• Administer contracts, including handling variations, progress claims, and cost control measures.
• Build and maintain good client and stakeholder relationships, providing clear and timely reporting.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards on all sites.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to site-based personnel as needed.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience managing Three Waters, utilities, or highways projects within the civil contracting industry.
• Sound knowledge of New Zealand construction contracts, preferably NZS3910.
• Background in civil engineering, construction management, or trade skills combined with project management experience.
• Strong communication abilities and excellent stakeholder and client engagement skills.
• Highly organised, proactive problem solver able to juggle multiple priorities.
• Possess a full New Zealand driver's licence and legal right to work in New Zealand.
