Descrizione del lavoro
About the Role
The International Centre for Aviation Innovation (ICAI) works to speed up the use of advanced technologies in aviation. Its mission is to convert research into practical operational outcomes, strengthen collaboration with global partners, and support a dynamic innovation ecosystem.
In this position, you will join the team overseeing a research and development initiative focused on the next generation of air navigation services (NexGen ANS) in Singapore and the Asia Pacific region under the Aviation Transformation Programme (ATP).
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Deputy Programme Director (ANS), you will partner with ICAI teams to advance the organisation’s strategic priorities and drive R&D projects managed by ICAI.
Working with other Programme Managers, you will oversee projects within the NexGen ANS programme. You will also handle ATP grant administration and other administrative work connected to the research institutes supporting ICAI’s R&D programmes.
In coordination with the appropriate ICAI departments, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including international and industry partners, and engage subject matter experts as required for the projects and activities assigned to you.
Candidate Profile
The role calls for a professional with solid experience in project and programme management who can work with minimal supervision. Experience in aviation-related work within a complex, multi-stakeholder environment will be a strong advantage.
Additional Requirements
- A background in science or engineering is preferred.
- Training in aviation or a related discipline is expected; postgraduate qualifications or professional certifications will be beneficial.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in project management, programme management, or a related area.
- Prior experience supporting senior leaders or leadership teams.
- Strong organisational, facilitation, and people skills, with the ability to build cooperation across different stakeholder groups.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills, sound analytical ability, and strong teamwork.
- Self-driven, able to work independently, and comfortable in a fast-moving environment.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for work.
