Role Overview
Located in North Dublin, the Production Supervisor will lead a team of mechanical and electrical technicians within a dynamic production setting. The role is essential in maintaining equipment uptime, overseeing maintenance operations, and spearheading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of mechanical and electrical technicians.
- Coordinate and support the execution of maintenance activities in the production area.
- Apply best practice maintenance procedures and promote continuous improvement.
- Implement lean methodologies to optimize operational efficiency.
- Investigate production deviations and ensure timely corrective actions.
- Collaborate with management to minimize downtime and boost equipment reliability.
- Manage shift scheduling and annual leave to maintain adequate staffing levels.
- Ensure high standards of safety, compliance, and performance are upheld.
- Facilitate ongoing development and training of the maintenance team.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in supervisory roles within manufacturing, pharmaceutical, medical device, or other regulated production environments.
- Preferred mechanical or electrical trade qualification or background.
- Proven track record as a Production Supervisor, Maintenance Supervisor, Team Lead, or similar position.
- Knowledge of regulated manufacturing settings including life sciences, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or cleanroom operations.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Understanding of maintenance best practices and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- Capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
