Production Supervisor - Biscuits & Chocolate Manufacturing

Overview

We are searching for a knowledgeable Production Supervisor specializing in biscuits and chocolate manufacturing to lead daily operations at our Dubai-based facility. The role entails overseeing production efficiency, ensuring high product quality, and maintaining compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.

Primary Duties

• Manage and supervise everyday production processes for biscuits and chocolates.
• Guarantee achievement of production schedules and targets with minimal downtime and waste.
• Oversee machine functionality, allocate manpower, and optimize line efficiency.
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, GMP, HACCP, and quality regulations.
• Collaborate with Quality Control, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Planning teams to facilitate seamless operations.
• Ensure accurate production documentation, including shift reports and quality verifications.
• Identify and resolve production challenges by implementing effective corrective measures.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Food Technology, Food Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in supervising production within biscuit and chocolate manufacturing.
• Expertise in biscuit baking processes and chocolate production operations such as tempering, moulding, and packaging.
• Hands-on experience with automated production lines and food processing equipment.
• Thorough understanding of HACCP, GMP, food safety protocols, and quality assurance standards.
• Proven leadership ability, effective team management, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Capacity to work shifts and perform under production deadlines.
• Good communication and reporting competence.
• Prior experience in the GCC/UAE food manufacturing sector is advantageous.
