Role Overview
The Production Planner is integral to the production team, providing crucial support by creating detailed reports and enhancing administrative workflows. Utilizing tools such as Power BI, SmartSheet, and Monday.com, this position facilitates informed decisions and effective department oversight through streamlined data management and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain precise production reports using data analysis and visualization platforms.
- Pinpoint improvement opportunities in processes and introduce efficient systems to boost productivity.
- Partner with production personnel to comprehend their requirements and craft customized solutions.
- Coordinate collaboration with different departments for data collection and seamless information exchange.
- Establish and uphold effective communication channels with all stakeholders to maintain alignment.
- Support the deployment of innovative technologies and systems aimed at optimizing administrative procedures.
- Deliver consistent reports and insights to leadership to assist in strategic decision-making.
- Ensure data accuracy and confidentiality in line with company guidelines.
- Keep abreast of the latest industry developments and best practices in production planning and operational administration.
- Promote a constructive and cooperative work culture that encourages continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Background in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- At least three years of professional experience in production planning or a closely related role, ideally within aviation, maritime, or catering sectors.
- Demonstrated expertise with data analysis and visualization tools, particularly Power BI, Smartsheet, and Monday.com.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities to convert data into practical recommendations.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills to foster effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Meticulous attention to detail combined with a proactive stance on resolving administrative challenges.
- Capability to independently handle multiple priorities efficiently.
- Knowledge of industry-specific software is a plus.
- Open and adaptable to incorporating new technological tools and operational methodologies.
- Goal-oriented with excellent organizational skills, committed to delivering superior results.
