Role Overview

As a Product Owner, you will guide the journey of product concepts from insights to execution. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will translate client needs and business goals into impactful outcomes. Your role is pivotal in aligning teams, maintaining project momentum, and ensuring the product strategy mirrors authentic user requirements and measurable benefits.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and refine the product backlog within your domain, crafting lucid user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Engage with engineering and design teams during sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure timely delivery.
• Convert customer feedback, analytic data, and stakeholder perspectives into prioritized requirements.
• Establish and monitor success indicators for released features and drive iterative improvements based on performance metrics.
• Serve as the primary contact for your product area, promptly resolving queries, overcoming blockages, and making prioritization decisions.
• Effectively communicate product roadmap updates, trade-offs, and progress to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Work closely with customer-centric teams, including sales, support, and customer success, to gather and reflect genuine customer needs.
• Collaborate with customer insight and go-to-market teams to feed validated customer feedback into product requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role within an agile software setting.
• Background in healthcare, healthcare SaaS, or products managing patient-facing workflows.
• Proficiency in writing clear, testable user stories and handling backlog management.
• Adeptness at prioritizing competing demands and making informed trade-offs even when data is incomplete.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for diverse technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams utilizing Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
• Familiarity with product management software such as Jira, Linear, or equivalents.
• Demonstrated ability to engage with leadership by conveying roadmaps, decisions, and status transparently.
• Practical experience partnering with sales, support, and customer success teams.
• Authorization to work within the United States.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of voice AI, conversational AI, or natural language processing technology.
• Understanding of healthcare compliance frameworks like NIST 800-53 and SOC 2 Type II in relation to product requirements.
• Certification such as CSPO is advantageous but not mandatory.
