Overview
The ICICI Bank Probationary Officer (PO) Program is designed to develop young professionals for careers in banking. The program emphasizes comprehensive learning, skill enhancement, and cultural integration, preparing participants to become Relationship Managers dedicated to delivering high-quality customer service. ICICI Bank operates on a philosophy of 360-degree customer service, encouraging employees to be flexible across roles and locations, providing holistic solutions to clients.
Program Details
- Duration: 2 months of intensive residential classroom training fully funded by ICICI Bank.
- Post-training Placement: Positions as Relationship Managers at various locations nationwide.
- Training Cost: Covered by the Bank.
Remuneration
- Monthly Stipend during Training: ₹18,000
- Initial Annual Salary (CTC): ₹500,000 to ₹550,000 depending on location.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Graduate, Engineer, or Postgraduate with at least 60% marks in both 10th grade and graduation.
- Experience: Zero to two years.
- Other Requirements: Willingness to be flexible in location and role, including sales-oriented Relationship Manager responsibilities.
Selection Process
- Online Aptitude Test covering verbal, quantitative, logical reasoning, and general awareness sections.
- Face-to-face interview for candidates who clear the aptitude test, with details communicated via email.
Role Responsibilities as a Relationship Manager
- Provide exceptional customer service by understanding client financial needs and recommending appropriate banking products while maintaining fairness to customers and the bank.
- Drive business growth by increasing wallet share of existing clients and acquiring new customers through comprehensive banking solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to offer a full spectrum of banking products including savings, loans, investments, trade finance, and wealth management.
- Enhance quality of customer portfolio by adhering to the "Fair to Bank, Fair to Customer" philosophy.
- Maintain branch infrastructure and comply with branch operational guidelines as necessary.
