Principal - Growth Software Investing

Role Overview

We are seeking a Principal to join a growth-focused investment firm dedicated exclusively to software companies. This role entails active involvement throughout the entire investment lifecycle, including sourcing potential deals, conducting thorough due diligence, executing transactions, and driving value creation in the portfolio. The individual will have significant autonomy, engage directly with founders and CEOs, and influence key investment decisions within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• 6 to 10+ years of relevant experience in growth equity, private equity, venture capital, or technology investment banking.
• Hands-on investing background focusing on software, SaaS, or other technology-related businesses.
• Proven ability to lead due diligence and manage transaction execution processes efficiently.
• Strong expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and investment underwriting.
• Experience analyzing software business models with emphasis on recurring revenue, customer retention, and growth drivers.
• Demonstrated track record of collaborating closely with portfolio companies and their management on strategic initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills, with an aptitude for building relationships with founders, executives, and advisors.
