About the Role

Join a leading global professional services firm dedicated to enhancing communities and advancing humanity through innovative civil and water infrastructure projects. As a Principal Engineer specializing in Water, you will combine deep technical expertise with strategic leadership to manage complex projects, mentor teams, and advise clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead investigations, analysis, design, and reporting for water and civil infrastructure assignments.
  • Provide technical guidance, peer reviews, and sound engineering judgment to project teams.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Over 15 years of professional experience in civil and/or water infrastructure, with thorough knowledge of New Zealand engineering standards, codes, and legislation.
  • Current Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) registration or actively pursuing it.
  • Proven commercial acumen, adept at managing budgets, contract administration, and risk.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of influencing diverse stakeholders.
  • Collaborative leadership approach with a passion for mentoring and developing others.
  • Holds a valid, clean full driver’s license.
