Position Overview

A rapidly expanding logistics company based in Dubai is seeking a dedicated Pricing Officer who combines strong pricing capabilities with operational insights. This pivotal role involves developing competitive and effective pricing models aligned with real-world operations to safeguard margins and ensure accurate costs from quotation through delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage pricing strategies and cost modelling tailored to various logistics services and client needs.
• Develop transparent pricing frameworks that maintain a balance between market competitiveness and profitability.
• Collaborate closely with the operations team to verify cost factors such as labour, transportation, warehousing, and last-mile delivery.
• Assist in responding to RFQs, RFPs, bids, tenders, and drafting precise commercial pricing proposals.
• Lead or support negotiations related to rates with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Promote process improvements to prevent cost leakage and heighten pricing precision.
• Ensure strict adherence to UAE regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in pricing within logistics, supply chain, freight forwarding or warehousing sectors.
• Strong operational understanding of cost drivers and margin erosion within logistics environments.
• Expertise in cost modelling, scenario planning, and detailed commercial analysis.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively between operations and sales teams with assertiveness where needed.
• Demonstrated negotiation proficiency and meticulous attention to detail.
• Pragmatic and solution-oriented approach delivering accurate and timely outputs.

Compensation

Salary range for this role is AED 10,000 to AED 12,000 per month.
