Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to join our expanding manufacturing team in Letterkenny, County Donegal. This position offers a long-term, stable opportunity within a modern fabrication setting where quality, safety, and collaboration are priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake machinery to bend and shape sheet metal parts accurately.
• Interpret engineering drawings, job cards, and production timelines to execute tasks effectively.
• Select, load appropriate tooling and materials for each job.
• Prepare, adjust, and calibrate machines to meet specific job requirements.
• Measure, align, and secure materials to ensure precise bending operations.
• Conduct initial and ongoing quality checks during production.
• Inspect completed components for conformity with quality and accuracy standards.
• Perform routine machine inspections and basic maintenance activities.
• Maintain a tidy, safe, and organized workspace.
• Collaborate closely with fabrication and production teams to achieve production targets.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience with press brake operation in fabrication or manufacturing contexts.
• Competence in reading and understanding engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Sound knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and bending processes.
• Keen attention to detail coupled with strong quality focus.
• Ability to function independently with minimal supervision.
• Positive, adaptable attitude combined with effective teamwork capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in tooling selection and press brake setup.
• Familiarity with quality control and inspection protocols.
• Previous work experience within a fabrication department.
