About the Role
Our client is a dynamic and expanding transportation and logistics company offering comprehensive supply chain solutions throughout North America and international markets. Known for outstanding customer service, innovation, and operational excellence, the organization is seeking a visionary leader to spearhead growth for its International Division.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the overall strategy, development, and operational performance of the International Division.
- Hold full profit and loss responsibility, ensuring divisional financial success.
- Build and nurture relationships with major ocean carriers, airlines, and strategic partners.
- Explore and secure new business opportunities, markets, and strategic growth initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-caliber, high-performing team.
- Promote operational excellence and uphold high standards of customer satisfaction within international operations.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on business planning and long-term expansion efforts.
- Stay informed on market trends and developments influencing international logistics.
Qualifications
- At least 10 years of experience within international freight forwarding, global logistics, air cargo, or ocean freight sectors.
- Minimum of 3 years in a Vice President role or higher, demonstrating leadership of international operations.
- Proven success in managing international logistics operations and driving profitable growth.
- Established network and strong relationships with carriers, shipping lines, airlines, and other key industry players.
- Outstanding leadership capabilities alongside strong business development and relationship management skills.
- Strategic thinker with entrepreneurial spirit and commercial acumen.
