About the Role
We are seeking motivated and committed Porters to become part of our team at 7265 North Baker Rd, Fremont, IN. This position plays a crucial role in upholding the cleanliness and operational quality of our premises, creating an inviting atmosphere for all visitors and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out regular cleaning duties across multiple areas such as restrooms, break rooms, and communal spaces.
- Maintain floors by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to ensure cleanliness.
- Empty trash bins responsibly and oversee waste disposal systems.
- Assist with minor maintenance tasks and promptly report any major repairs to management.
- Support event preparations by setting up and dismantling as required.
- Keep cleaning supplies well-stocked and orderly.
- Deliver excellent customer service by warmly welcoming guests and addressing their inquiries.
Qualifications
- Completion of high school or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in cleaning or custodial roles is advantageous.
- Physical ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality.
- Effective communication skills paired with a pleasant attitude.
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
- Availability to work various shifts including evenings and weekends as needed.
