Role Overview
We are seeking a part-time Podcast Studio Producer based in Parramatta, NSW, who will manage the complete podcast production process. This includes preparing the studio, capturing audio and video, and coordinating effectively with hosts and guests during recording sessions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and set up recording equipment within the studio.
- Monitor and ensure the highest quality of sound during recordings.
- Organize and maintain episode files systematically.
- Collaborate with the content team to align podcasts with brand and creative strategies.
- Schedule and prepare studio sessions ahead of recordings.
- Handle basic editing and post-production tasks.
- Support the delivery of polished podcast episodes optimized for social media and digital platforms.
- Work closely with the broader team on content planning, timing, and operational aspects of the studio.
Qualifications and Expectations
- Experience with podcast production processes including studio setup, recording, and basic editing of audio and video.
- Proficient with podcast-related audio and video equipment such as microphones, mixers, and recording software, along with familiarity with video editing tools.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple recording schedules and file handling.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with hosts, guests, and colleagues, along with professional conduct onsite.
- Meticulous attention to sound and video quality, visual presentation, and adherence to brand standards.
- Knowledge of social media and digital content best practices, especially for converting podcasts into short-form clips.
- Previous experience in a studio, media, or content creation setting is an advantage.
- Must be available to work part-time onsite in Parramatta.
