Overview

We are seeking a PMO Consultant to manage resource planning, capacity forecasting, and workforce management across multiple programme workstreams. This role requires coordinating staffing activities, maintaining project reporting tools, supporting financial assessments, and facilitating governance meetings to ensure smooth delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee comprehensive resource planning, capacity management, and workforce forecasting across programme streams.
  • Coordinate all aspects of resource demand, including new requests, backfills, onboarding, offboarding, and staffing activities.
  • Ensure adherence to resource governance processes and approved demand management procedures.
  • Collaborate with delivery leads to identify forthcoming workforce needs, risks, dependencies, and capacity shortfalls.
  • Maintain up-to-date workforce trackers, demand pipelines, resource plans, staffing dashboards, and related reporting documentation.
  • Assist with financial resource assessments, forecasting, and workforce reporting to support decision-making.
  • Prepare comprehensive programme reports, metrics, presentations, and executive-level materials for leadership and governance meetings.
  • Organize and facilitate programme meetings, including leadership forums, team lead discussions, governance reviews, and working groups.
  • Manage meeting governance duties such as agenda setting, action item tracking, decision documentation, minute taking, and follow-ups.
  • Track delivery progress across workstreams and help monitor milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and action plans.
  • Engage closely with delivery managers and workstream leads to ensure prompt follow-up and closure of project deliverables.
  • Serve as the primary coordination hub between project teams, HR, recruitment, resource management, and delivery stakeholders for approved staffing needs.
  • Champion continuous improvement efforts to optimize resource management processes, reporting quality, governance, and workforce visibility.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in PMO functions, workforce planning, resource management, programme operations, or project coordination roles.
  • Experience supporting major programmes in technology, healthcare, digital, or transformation sectors.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills to operate effectively across delivery teams and support functions.
  • Familiarity with meeting governance, action tracking, project reporting, and executive communications.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis, report generation, and presentation development.
  • Experienced in resource planning, capacity management, demand tracking, workforce reporting, and project governance processes.
  • Knowledge of Power BI, SharePoint, Power Automate, or other reporting and collaboration platforms is a plus.
