Picker / Packer

Role Overview

As a Picker / Packer, the primary responsibility is to accurately collect customer orders using handheld devices or mobile applications, ensuring correct quantities and high product quality. The role requires adherence to inventory management principles such as FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expiry, First Out), along with thorough product condition checks including damage and expiry verification.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Accurately select items from stock using electronic devices to fulfill orders.
• Verify product quantities and ensure all items meet quality standards.
• Apply FIFO and FEFO methodologies when selecting products to maintain inventory integrity.
• Inspect products for defects, damage, or expiration prior to picking.
• Organize picked products at designated packing stations effectively.
• Maintain required speed and accuracy levels aligned with company performance metrics.
• Ensure work areas including aisles and storage spots remain clean and neatly arranged.
• Support periodic inventory tasks such as stock counting, replenishment, and cycle audits.
• Inform the Shift Incharge about any stock variances, damaged goods, or system malfunctions.
• Comply with all safety protocols, hygiene standards, and standard operating procedures at all times.
