Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Physiotherapist dedicated to delivering outstanding clinical care and achieving positive outcomes for individuals with learning disabilities. This position requires clinical expertise to manage intricate cases within the community and collaborate closely with primary care teams. Strong communication and a solution-oriented mindset are essential as you work with a multidisciplinary team to build support networks and strengthen service resilience.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver countywide specialist learning disability physiotherapy services by managing a caseload of clients with complex learning disabilities under the guidance of the lead physiotherapist.
- Provide professional supervision to staff and students, including appraisal processes and supporting professional development, particularly in mandatory training areas.
- Contribute to the planning, development, and assessment of learning disability services and engage in relevant projects as assigned by the management team.
- Function independently as a practitioner by assessing, identifying, and treating health needs of adults with learning disabilities within your specialized caseload.
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary and multi-agency collaborations within the learning disability program and with key external partners.
