Job Overview
The Physiotherapist role involves assisting individuals to regain mobility and strength following surgery, illness, aging, or disabilities. The goal is to help patients overcome physical impairments and avoid future complications through professional therapeutic interventions.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Assess the root causes of physical injuries or movement dysfunctions.
- Develop tailored treatment programs which may incorporate therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and the application of electrotherapy.
- Guide and support patients to enhance their strength and restore functional movement capabilities.
Skills and Expertise Required
- Proficiency in diagnosing injury sources and physical limitations.
- Strong knowledge of physical rehabilitation practices including manual therapy and electrotherapy modalities.
- Ability to design custom treatment plans suited to individual patient needs.
