Position Overview
This full-time, onsite pharmacist position based in Tirana involves dispensing prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately, verifying dosages, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Daily responsibilities include advising patients on appropriate medication usage, potential side effects, drug interactions, and guidance on non-prescription and cosmetic products. Additional tasks include reviewing prescriptions, maintaining up-to-date patient records, managing inventory, and ensuring correct storage and handling of medicines.
Collaboration and Quality Assurance
The pharmacist will cooperate closely with the pharmacy staff, support quality and safety initiatives, and contribute to maintaining a professional, patient-focused environment.
Qualifications
- Licensed pharmacist with a recognized degree in Pharmacy and authorized to practice in Albania.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, prescription processing, and medication safety standards.
- Ability to clearly counsel patients regarding medication usage, possible side effects, and interactions.
- Attention to detail in dispensing, documentation, and data maintenance.
- Effective communication and customer service skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Capability to work full-time onsite and cooperate well with colleagues.
- Familiarity with pharmacy management systems and basic computer proficiency.
- Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and continuous professional development.
