Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate the full employee lifecycle by organizing and contributing to essential people processes to deliver a positive and aligned experience with company objectives.
• Collaborate with Distribution Centre management to guide people-related matters and foster organizational growth.
• Promote employee engagement and nurture a diverse and inclusive workplace through routine HR activities and programs.
• Assist managers in developing a safe and motivating atmosphere where employees feel valued and heard.
• Support early resolution of workplace concerns by partnering with managers to encourage constructive communication.
• Drive local change management efforts and assist in implementing global and regional HR initiatives.
• Oversee conflict resolution, handling grievances and disciplinary actions promptly and fairly.
• Lead or support union negotiations to maintain positive labor relations.
• Participate in mediations and legal procedures as needed to aid in conflict resolution.
• Work closely with HR teams at local, regional, and global levels for a cohesive HR strategy.
• Monitor and report on HR metrics such as recruitment, turnover, and training completion to support informed decision-making.
• Ensure adherence to local labor laws, internal policies, and union agreements through accurate record-keeping and up-to-date knowledge.
• Provide coaching and guidance to leaders on policies, employee concerns, and labor laws.
• Maintain effective employee relations documentation compliant with GDPR.
• Encourage a healthy workplace culture aligned with legal and ethical standards.

Candidate Profile

• Possess expert-level knowledge of local labor laws and their practical application within the workplace.
• Extensive experience in employee relations within logistics operations.
• Proficient in conflict resolution, disciplinary procedures, and workplace investigations.
• Comprehensive understanding of employee contracts, compensation structures, and benefits.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt style empathetically based on context.
• Thorough knowledge of all employee lifecycle processes.
• Good grasp of Distribution Centre operations and cross-functional role dependencies.
• Excellent coordination, prioritization, and organizational abilities.
• Familiarity with SuccessFactors HR systems.
• Strong commitment to advancing the People Strategy.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $78,400 to $88,200 per year. This estimate is based on candidate qualifications and may be subject to change.
