About Personio and the Role
Personio is a smart HR platform designed to simplify complex and time-intensive tasks for small and medium-sized organizations. Serving more than 15,000 customers and 1.5 million employees, the company employs a team of 1,500 committed professionals dedicated to creating intuitive, user-friendly products that genuinely delight users. This position offers an impactful opportunity from day one, requiring in-office presence three days weekly, with office locations available in Munich or Berlin. Candidates outside these cities within Germany may work fully remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver expert guidance and support related to payroll processing, regulatory compliance, and the functionalities of payroll systems.
- Ensure that payroll procedures comply with both internal standards and external legal requirements.
- Keep abreast of changes in payroll legislation and new technologies, using this knowledge to enhance workflows and customer experiences.
- Attend to customer queries via email, callbacks, and live chat channels, providing solutions promptly with clarity and empathy.
- Offer customers resources for self-help through documentation and help center articles.
- Organize workload effectively to handle multiple priorities and ensure customer issues are resolved.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Compliance, Implementation, and Professional Services teams to diagnose and fix issues, as well as develop optimized solutions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the internal and external knowledge bases for both staff and clients.
- Engage in cross-department projects aimed at refining payroll-related operations and support services.
- Assist in drafting and maintaining support documentation for the Help Center.
- Use analytical skills to spot deficiencies in payroll products or operations and propose innovative corrective measures.
- Work calmly and efficiently under pressure during busy periods or escalated situations.
- Commit to ongoing professional development through internal training to maintain expertise in payroll matters and products.
- Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure the support provided remains top-notch.
Candidate Requirements
- In-depth expertise in payroll processes, compliance requirements, and quality assurance.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, capable of managing conflicts with professionalism.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to tackle complex payroll challenges.
- Effective time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects concurrently.
- A collaborative working style with proven experience in cross-functional teamwork.
- Fluency in German at native or C2 proficiency level and business-level English.
