Position Summary
We are searching for a Payroll Specialist to join our HR team in Kelsterbach, with plans to relocate to Nieder-Olm near Mainz by October 2026. This role entails ownership of payroll operations, close collaboration with internal HR and external payroll vendors, and assistance with Compensation & Benefits to optimize payroll accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile, verify, and manage payroll data to guarantee precise monthly payroll execution.
- Liaise monthly with internal teams and external providers to coordinate payroll activities.
- Evaluate payroll outputs and contribute to enhancements in payroll performance and processes.
- Assist in payroll reporting, reconciliation, and validating payroll data.
- Support Compensation & Benefits initiatives such as salary modifications, bonus handling, and benefits administration.
- Prepare necessary HR documents and maintain up-to-date employee records.
- Ensure strict adherence to German payroll laws, company policies, and statutory obligations.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
- Proven experience in German payroll administration.
- Knowledge or experience in Compensation & Benefits is advantageous.
- Deep familiarity with German payroll procedures and legislation.
- Detail-focused, methodical, and dependable work approach.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Proactive and capable of working autonomously in a fast-paced, international work setting.
- Fluency in German and English; Mandarin language skills are highly valued.
