Job description

About Consultia Unternehmensgruppe

With nearly two decades of dedicated service, Consultia Unternehmensgruppe supports demanding clients in economic and tax matters both nationally and internationally. Employing over 40 professionals at four locations, they tailor solutions for the upscale mid-market segment. The firm uniquely integrates advisory services with digitalization through fully digital processes, paperless workflows, and innovative tools to boost efficiency, sustainability, and modern client service beyond traditional tax consulting.

As a DATEV pilot firm, Consultia is currently implementing a self-developed ticketing system and transitioning payroll accounting to the latest cloud solution, DATEV Personal. This enables them to provide clients with digital, AI-augmented, and fully integrated solutions featuring seamless data exchange. Their team also includes specialized labor law attorneys, creating substantial added value in payroll services and positioning the company as a reliable partner in a rapidly evolving market.

Responsibilities

  • Independently prepare and manage payroll and salary settlements.
  • Act as the primary contact for clients regarding payroll tax and social security law inquiries.
  • Contribute to the enhancement and automation of the company's digital processes.
  • Optionally assist with related accounting issues.

Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training, such as a certified tax clerk or equivalent, ideally with experience in payroll accounting.
  • Proficiency with DATEV software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Enjoy working in a digital, paperless environment.
  • Demonstrate an independent and dependable approach to work.
  • Exhibit strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Possess excellent German communication abilities, both written and verbal.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary exceeding industry averages, including a 13th month pay and company pension plan.
  • Firm-wide objectives promoting collective success rather than individual competition.
  • Collaborative interdisciplinary projects across departments.
  • Clear career advancement pathways.
  • Modern, stylish, and functional workplace environments.
  • Emphasis on team cohesion with regular team-building events.
  • Ongoing digital learning and professional development opportunities.
  • Autonomy and trust that allow freedom in decision-making and working styles.
  • Flexible working hours and options for remote work to support optimal work-life balance.
  • Highly digitalized operations with modern tools and forward-thinking processes.
