Role Overview
We are on the lookout for a meticulous Payroll Analyst to ensure prompt and precise payroll management throughout the employee lifecycle. This position involves handling payroll transactions, maintaining employee records in SAP Employee Central (EC) and Employee Central Payroll (ECP), and guaranteeing adherence to Australian payroll standards, policies, and statutory entitlements.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process payroll transactions and manage employee lifecycle updates.
- Maintain and update employee data within SAP EC and ECP systems supporting comprehensive payroll operations.
- Ensure compliance with Australian legislation regarding payroll, tax, superannuation, and leave entitlements.
- Address payroll inquiries, resolve salary disputes, and manage employee benefits and entitlements.
- Conduct payroll reconciliations, prepare reports, and rectify payroll discrepancies.
- Participate in payroll system testing, support process enhancements, and collaborate across teams.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum three years of experience managing high-volume, in-house Australian payroll.
- In-depth understanding of Australian payroll laws including taxation, superannuation, leave policies, and compliance.
- Proficient with SAP Payroll/ECP and HR information systems including payroll processing, employee lifecycle changes, and reconciliations.
- Intermediate Excel capabilities complemented by strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a commitment to high-quality customer service.
- Highly organized, detail-focused team player capable of handling multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
