Role summary
You will join a fast-paced team on a 12-month contract, helping deliver payroll services that are accurate, compliant, and completed on time.
Key duties
- Run several weekly and monthly payroll cycles.
- Gather timesheets, check and balance hours, and keep holiday records up to date.
- Handle time and attendance activities in TMS, including monitoring absences.
- Set up new starters, process leavers, and apply payroll changes when needed.
- Answer employee payroll questions professionally and promptly.
- Calculate statutory pay such as SSP, SMP, and SPP in accordance with legislation.
- Follow SOX requirements and internal payroll controls.
- Keep current with payroll law, pensions, benefits in kind, and deductions.
- Work in partnership with the external payroll vendor, CORE.
- Coordinate with Revenue and other third-party contacts as needed.
Skills and experience needed
To be successful, you should hold an IPASS qualification and have prior experience with Irish payroll. You also need to be detail-oriented, able to meet strict deadlines, and confident communicating both in writing and verbally. Intermediate Excel capability is important, including formatting, data validation, and basic analysis. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team member who can also work independently, and who builds strong working relationships easily.

This is a 12-month contract based in Limerick, County Limerick, Ireland. The role is offered on a hybrid basis with both onsite and work-from-home days.
