Role Details
- Position: Payroll Administrator
- Location: Mayfield, Cork
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Type: Full-time, office based
Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage full payroll operations accurately and timely
- Ensure precise input and validation of employee working hours
- Calculate applicable tax deductions including PAYE, PRSI, and USC
- Address employee payroll queries promptly and efficiently
- Review and verify payroll reports for completeness and correctness
- Handle discrepancies and resolve any payroll related issues
- Administer payroll software and maintain updated records
- Prepare and complete all required P30 returns for statutory payroll obligations
- Manage third party deductions such as healthcare, union fees, and pension contributions
- Calculate final settlements for departing employees, including issuing P45 forms
Qualifications and Requirements
- Prior experience in finance and payroll environments
- Familiarity with payroll and finance-related software applications
- Good understanding of Irish payroll legislation, including PAYE, PRSI, and USC systems
- Capability to perform effectively in a full-time onsite position
- Flexibility regarding working hours as required
