Role Overview
The Patient Counsellor at Ayushmaanbhava Pharmaceutical & Institute, located in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, plays a crucial part in healthcare delivery by providing clear communication, emotional support, and coordination among healthcare professionals and patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Explain medical diagnoses, treatment alternatives, surgical procedures, and anticipated expenses to patients and their relatives in a transparent and comprehensible manner.
- Offer empathetic support by attentively listening to patient concerns, aiming to alleviate anxiety related to impending surgeries or treatments.
- Facilitate smooth interactions between medical staff, including doctors and nurses, and administrative units such as billing to support holistic patient care.
- Oversee management of patient documentation, coordinate insurance or Third Party Administrator (TPA) approvals, and maintain precise records concerning patient follow-ups and conversions.
- Track patients' recovery progress post-treatment, ensure compliance with care instructions, and provide assistance with any outstanding questions or concerns.
Compensation Details
Monthly remuneration ranges from INR 15,000 to INR 40,000.
