It operates diagnostic imaging and minor injuries centers nationwide, providing advanced medical imaging and healthcare services to the public, insurers, employers, and other organizations.
Role Overview
We are expanding our Northside Dublin Clinics team by recruiting experienced Patient Administrators. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient patient-facing services, including appointment management, record-keeping, clinical staff support, and delivering exceptional service to patients and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist patients in-person, via telephone, or email with professionalism and courtesy.
- Organize, confirm, and oversee patient appointments to efficiently utilize clinical resources.
- Register new patients and accurately update existing records within the patient management system.
- Provide clear information on appointments, procedures, and clinic policies to patients.
- Maintain and file patient files while safeguarding confidentiality in line with data protection laws.
- Process referrals, medical documents, and correspondence promptly and accurately.
- Collaborate with clinical personnel to coordinate patient flow and assist in service delivery.
- Address patient inquiries and complaints, escalating them appropriately when required.
- Operate software systems to manage patient data and scheduling.
- Ensure documentation is properly completed and appropriately archived.
- Produce reports and assist with auditing tasks as directed by management.
- Comply fully with all applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Keep the reception and administrative areas neat and organized.
- Engage in quality improvement projects and help develop services.
Qualifications and Experience
- Attainment of at least a Leaving Certificate or its equivalent.
- Previous experience in healthcare or customer service roles is advantageous.
- Competency with Microsoft Office applications and patient management software such as RIS or PACS.
