Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join Stefani Solicitors, specializing in Mental Health, Court of Protection, Family Law, and Civil Litigation matters. This position is based in the London area and involves providing strong support to solicitors and vulnerable clients through a variety of responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting solicitors in managing cases related to Court of Protection, Mental Health, Family Law, and Civil Litigation.
- Visiting clients at hospitals, care homes, supported living facilities, and private residences.
- Collaborating effectively with healthcare professionals, social workers, advocates, families, and other relevant parties.
- Drafting and preparing Court of Protection applications, witness statements, legal letters, and other case documentation.
- Updating and maintaining detailed and accurate case files, supporting case management activities.
- Contributing to best interests decision-making and safeguarding processes for clients.
- Delivering compassionate, professional, and client-centered services.
Candidate Profile
- Essential prior experience as a Paralegal, particularly in Mental Health or Court of Protection areas.
- Excellent organizational abilities to handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Confident in preparing legal documents and formal correspondence.
- Exceptional professionalism with empathy towards vulnerable clients and their families.
- High attention to detail with competency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience using LEAP case management software is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Italian or Portuguese is a plus.
