Orthopaedic Surgeon

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon to diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing clinical assessments, carrying out surgical interventions, and ensuring comprehensive care for patients with orthopedic issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients with musculoskeletal disorders, including fractures, sports-related injuries, arthritis, and other joint diseases.
• Develop treatment plans founded on thorough patient evaluations and current evidence-based practices.
• Execute orthopedic surgeries and procedures consistent with clinical expertise.
• Analyze diagnostic imaging such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs to inform patient care.
• Oversee patient care before and after surgical interventions.
• Prescribe appropriate medications, physiotherapy, and rehabilitation programs.
• Work collaboratively with physiotherapists, radiologists, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize patient recovery.
• Maintain detailed medical records ensuring compliance with institutional protocols and medical standards.
• Provide patient education focused on injury prevention, recovery processes, and maintaining long-term musculoskeletal health.

Required Qualifications and Expertise

• Medical degree (MBBS) complemented by MS or DNB specialization in Orthopedics.
• At least three years of clinical experience post-specialization as an Orthopedic Specialist.
• Mandatory clearance of the Qatar Prometric Examination.
• Should be eligible for the Qatar DataFlow verification process as well as medical licensing.
• Possess strong surgical skills alongside comprehensive clinical knowledge in orthopedics.
• Excellent communication capabilities and patient management proficiency.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are considered beneficial.
