Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Guide customers by applying your strong sense of style and knowledge of current eyewear trends, frame design, and lens technology.
• Conduct thorough eye examinations using state-of-the-art diagnostic tools to accurately determine prescriptions and assess eye health.
• Personalize eyewear recommendations by engaging customers to understand their style preferences, lifestyle, and facial features.
• Perform precise measurements, adjustments, and fittings to ensure glasses provide optimal comfort and clarity.
• Collaborate with optical experts to select appropriate lenses, advising on materials, coatings, and specialized filters such as anti-glare, blue-light, and UV protection.
• Deliver outstanding customer service, resolving concerns post-purchase and fostering a welcoming boutique environment that encourages repeat patronage.
• Keep up-to-date with evolving eyewear trends by participating in industry events and sharing insights through social media, blogs, or workshops, establishing yourself as a fashion authority.

Candidate Requirements

• Licensed optician with certification from the Opticians Ordinance Board (OOB) and a passion for fashion in eyewear.
• Profound understanding of optical science, lens technologies, and diverse frame styles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal capabilities to engage effectively with a wide range of customers.
• Meticulous attention to detail for accurate measurements and adjustments.
