About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate Optical Assistant to join our team in Chelmsford. This role is perfect for someone with a background in retail who has a passion for providing excellent customer service and is eager to grow professionally. You'll be assisted by experienced Opticians and Technicians as you develop your skills and explore various career pathways within the business.

Primary Responsibilities
- Welcoming customers warmly as they enter the store
- Booking appointments for eye examinations
- Conducting preliminary patient screenings
- Offering personalized style advice on eyewear
- Measuring and fitting frames accurately
- Handling incoming phone calls professionally
Requirements and Experience
Applicants should have prior experience working in a dynamic customer service or retail environment. Additional skills or experience relevant to optical assistance could be advantageous and help differentiate candidates.
